Computer aided engineering for electrical designers

The author concentrates on technical design software-not computer aided draughting, but computer aided design calculations, especially in the light of the 15th Edition Wiring Regulations. There are many things to consider when doing wiring calculations to the 15th Edition. The Regulations include page after page of clauses, tables, equations, plus revisions, adding up to a very significant amount of work for the design engineer. Using a computer allows the designer to do these calculations in detail-for hundreds of individual ways. Perhaps more importantly, the results can then be presented neatly in a standard form, making checking easier
