Abstract :
The curriculum design in basis of mechanical designing is one of the most important steps during the teaching of basis of mechanical designing, which is the practice for training students´ normal mechanical designing ability and cultivating students´ ability to analyze and solve engineering problems, as well as students´ capability of innovation and practice. Moreover, it could exert an important influence on the learning of other courses and graduation projects. In this paper, the present state and existent problems of the curriculum design are analyzed in detail, as well as reformational necessity of the curriculum design. In order to improve the teaching quality of the curriculum design, some reform ideas and concrete methods are put forward to improve the students´ capacity, such as theme choosing, task arrangement, instructional mode, students´ CAD ability, students´ innovation ability, oral defense and method of point rating. These methods will arouse students´ interests, cultivate their cooperative capability, enhance their capability of using CAD technique, and improve their capability of communication. The teaching practice proves that these reformational methods are effective.
