Abstract :
In this paper, we apply the MAP-DFE technique onto multiuser detection of the MC-CDMA uplink receiver. To improve the MAP-DFE performance, we propose two enhancement techniques: the IQ (in phase and quadrature) processing and the a posteriori error probability precision optimization by taking into account the influences of the nulling matrix, the end to end matrix and the MAI contribution. We have obtained significant performance improvement. We have also compared the performance of the enhanced MAP-DFE with the sphere decoder
