Abstract
A computationally efficient iterative procedure is presented for analyzing electromagnetic scattering from a planar flat strip and an infinite strip grating with thin coatings. The surface equivalence principle is used to develop a combined field integral equation formulation constructed in the spectral domain and solved by the generalized biconjugate gradient-FFT method. Numerical results are presented for various geometries for transverse electric and transverse magnetic polarizations.<>
