Abstract
This paper presents the performance of impulse radio ultra wide band up converted to the 60 GHz band for high rate ad hoc networks. The performance of a multiuser transmission system based on time hopping code division multiple access is evaluated. The bit and packet error rates depending on the number of users in the room are presented. It takes into account the network configuration, two types of antennas (omnidirectional and directional), the channel modeling and the received useful and interference power distributions. Finally the feasibility of the proposed system is shown
