Abstract
The noise of the main parts of high pressure common-rail diesel engine was analyzed in this paper. The near-field noise of main parts of diesel engine was measured by using spectrum analysis technology, and the noise sources were identified. The results showed that the engine noise was increased rapidly with the increase of speed. With the increase of load, the engine noise was almost kept the same. The main noise sources of the engine were oil pump, oil pan, crankshaft pulley and air cleaner. At low speed, the main noise source was intake air noise of air cleaner. At high speed, the main noise source was oil pan.
