Abstract
A technique is developed to restore the RADARSAT antenna elevation pattern in the eventuality that is degraded due to phase error, after launch. In this approach, the total phase error in each row of the antenna are estimated based on the degraded antenna elevation pattern. The phase shifter settings on the satellite are then adjusted to compensate for the estimated phase errors.
