Abstract :
A new fisheries research vessel is being fitted with a number of micro- processor based systems. In view of the numerous problems occurring in these type of installations, from electromagnetic interference considerable thought was given to the electrical installation design in order to achieve a suitable onboard electrical environment for this type of equipment. The paper briefly outlines one approach to this problem.
