    The author describes the INTELSAT VII satellite system design, discussing communications antennas, and the communications repeater. The spacecraft controller is considered, including attitude and orbit control, and the propulsion system and telemetry, command, and ranging are presented. Power generation, storage, and distribution are discussed and thermal control is outlined
