  • Abstract
A plant building with storage of flammable materials was partly RC frame, and partly steel frame. After fire, most part of the steel frame collapsed, and the RC frame was badly damaged. Firstly, the depths of carbonation of concrete and concrete strength were detected, and then fire safety status of the plant structure was appraised. Finally, based on appraisement results, the plant structure was strengthened.
