  • Abstract
    Based on the standard 9-point and the sound pressure test in the noise Semi-anechoic chamber, the diesel engine was carried out at idle and standard conditions and maximum torque of conditions of machine noise experiment. Using near sound field sound intensity measurement methods, distinguishing the noise source, the average sound pressure level of the experiment proved the feasibility of covering materials and noise reduction. The results show that: that were the main source of noise of oil pan and the surface of the cylinder covers, exhaust pipes and air pressure pump. After covering composites, the best noise reduction at idle speed, the machine noise decreases 2.5dB (A).
