Abstract :
The authors describe implementation principles and practical arrangements for introduction of the Signalling System No.7 in the TROPICO-RA switching office. The adopted solution allows an easy realization while meeting requirements for performance, service and technological evolution. TROPICO-RA is a digital stored program controlled switching system which is presently at its development stage at the Research and Development Center of TELEBRAS, the telecommunication service provider holding company in Brazil
