Abstract :
Efficient knowledge representation is a prerequisite for autonomous land vehicles in order to react in real-time in a variety of complex situations. In this paper, the knowledge representation developed for flexible automation of land vehicles at UBM is discussed. Different categories are introduced to structure the complex knowledge necessary for autonomous driving: hierarchical knowledge representation and object-oriented knowledge representation
