Abstract :
This study develops a model for simulation of the behaviors of learners under the influence of motivation, engagement and intervention through application of cellular automata. It investigates the changing patterns of learners´ behaviors when the three factors are assigned with different values individually. The results obtained show good agreement with the phenomenon generally being observed in practice.
