Abstract :
With the deep development of coal mining, the underground mining will face serious threats to the confined aquifer, mining under safe water pressure of aquifer has become the main way to mine deep coal resources. At the same time, the auxiliary waterproof method is particularly important to adapt to the mining. Faced with the mining technological challenges in the deep coal mining, with the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the retreating and advancing mining, comparing with their applicable condition, the retreating mining become a main mining method. Then according to the critical water-inrush coefficient to decide whether the danger of water-inrush exists in this mine, combining with the water pressure, thickness of water-resisting layer, fault-dip, critical water-inrush coefficient and so on to design reasonable size of waterproof pillar. Finally, the way with the assistant of the waterproof pillar and the retreating mining of underground mining becomes the major mining type. With those, we can be sure of the safety mining in the confined aquifer and prevent the flooded Wells accidents efficiently.
