Abstract :
In this paper more temperature measuring techniques will be presented. Our focus is on the technique, how to get the temperature information from the sensor to the PC, not the software it´s self. Four temperature sensors will be presented, each of them different, needing different kind of mathematic calculation to obtain the temperature. To know these methods some experience is needed. Only reading the datasheet is not enough, a few mathematic calculations and some software knowledge is needed. The principle is to obtain voltage, current or resistance from the sensor and convert it to temperature. The equipments needed are: a sensor, an acquisition card and a PC.
