  • Abstract
    An advanced R&D program at the Solar Energy Research Institute (SERI) is studying viable alternatives to the current ocean thermal energy conversion (OTEC) program. This paper describes the recent progress related to Claude- or open-cycle OTEC and briefly shows how several low- temperature energy conversion technologies are linked in common research areas.
