Abstract :
The author has outlined the approach followed in the design of a transconductor-capacitor filter in bipolar technology. The design path followed, which includes the use of semicustom integrated circuits, is described. Results are given for a transconductor-capacitor filter that is tunable in the range 1.5 kHz to 30 kHz. The filter is implemented in a standard bipolar process. The response shape obtained is in excellent agreement with theory, and the matching between two adjacent filter, in terms of both amplitude and phase, is good
