Abstract :
Describes an innovative satcom antenna for a land-mobile application. It is a low profile design, based on a Luneberg lens and reflector combination, and operates in the microwave X-band. Beam steering and stabilization is achieved through the use of a novel epicyclic gearbox, driven by attitude and heading sensors
