Abstract :
The cumulative displacement of landslides caused by earthquake consists of two parts: one is the initial displacement of the slope before the earthquake, the other is the displacement generated by the earthquake. The former can be determined by monitoring data or geological macroscopic survey, while the latter can be calculated by the Newmark method, so that we can obtain the cumulative landslide displacement. Combined with the latest critical displacement evolution theory, and comparing the cumulative displacement with the critical displacement, the paper put forward the critical displacement criterion for earthquake-induced landslide, which provide quantitative reference information for the seismic landslide hazard prediction, the localization in the earthquake-hit region, and the reconstruction work after the earthquake, thereby improve our cognition and understanding of the earthquake-induced landslide hazard.
