Abstract
The measurement of micro-scale velocity fluctuations in the ocean from a moving platform requires an instrument capable of high frequency response, fine spatial resolution, and high sensitivity. The hot film anemometer is one of the few sensors that can meet the performance requirements listed in Table 1.
