Abstract
This paper presents management aspects of a software agent society used for more efficient monitoring and diagnosis of a complex heterogeneous system -multiple hydroelectric power plants connected in a chain on a river. The agent system will be superimposed over the existing SCADA control and monitoring network and will increase performance, efficiency and stability in the existing system
