Abstract :
Describes the circuit functions that are required for very-wideband receivers and how these can be realised in MMIC form. In some cases the circuits have already been made and tested to demonstrate the technique, in other cases only suggestions for promising solutions can be made. The techniques used to design active power splitters, active signal combiners, 90° phase splitters and combiners, and 180° phase splitters and combiners are also discussed
