Abstract
To solve the problem of office document processing complexity, the paper analyses the characteristics of document structure which is tangled logic content nodes with other non-content nodes. Two methods of intelligent processing for office document based on ontology are presented. Both methods are proposed according to different office document application scenarios and implemented processing intelligent via inferential mechanism without destroying document structure. Comparing with XPath, it may bring more machine understanding performance. In the end, the paper shows how to build office document ontology model based on UOF format and describes simple SWRL rules for intelligent processing for office document.
