Abstract :
The paper deals with the identification of a wastewater treatment process based on the sensibilities calculus. The paper also contains a study regarding the parameter relevance with the purpose to make easier the identification procedure. According to this procedure the set of parameters that must be identified is reduced, a part of the parameter vector (the parameters that are not relevant) being determined based on the specialist expertise. The simulations show that the method produces good results and can be successfully used in process identification
