Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present an algorithm to identify the rigid body mode subsystem which is embedded in a system consisting of flexible and rigid body modes. The state space representation of the rigid body mode subsystem has the property such that all of the eigenvalues of the A-matrix are zero. The algorithm capitalizes on the special structure of the rigid body mode to generate a minimum order model
