            Abstract : 
The authors describe soliton evolution through synchronous amplification of a seeded modulational instability signal in a single mode optical fibre, also through amplification of sub-fundamental soliton power pulses and noise burst, and finally describe the generation of solitons with durations of 200-300 fs from amplified CW diode laser sources
