Abstract :
As a rash of developments of cardiac mapping systems continues to evolve, indications for invasive electrophysiologic interventions are expanding. However, currently available mapping and ablations techniques are often limited by the complex anatomic and surgical substrate and a high arrhythmia recurrence rate. Better understanding of the interdependencies between cardiac anatomy and electrophysiology may have clinical implications, e.g. for planning minimal invasive curative procedures. This feasibility study aimed to investigate a solution to visualize electro- anatomic properties of the myocardium in a free of nervous and hormonal interferences model
