Abstract :
The basic road network data is the foundation of traffic analysis and planning. Because the transportation departments are not responsible to collect the basic data, the traffic analysis departments usually need to refer to the data from different recourses to update the road network. Not only should the realistic of data be promised, but also the inheritance of time and version. Considering the present situation, the paper presented a technique which can automatically recognize and update the increment quickly and accurately referring to the vector data of the road network collected from different resources, which can save the time and manpower using for updating and maintaining the road network data every year.
