Abstract :
The power flow equations are multi-variable non-linear equations. Generally, it is difficult to choose suitable initial values for solving multi-variable non-linear equations. With no necessity of given initial values, the homology continuation algorithm can find all solutions but at the same time, a specific program is needed to be compiled. In this paper, the principle and realization method of homology continuation algorithm, by constructing a kind of new homology function combining with Maple10.0 toolbox, was introduced. The numerical example shows that the method is effective which provides a new easy realization method to find all the solutions of steady-state power flow equations.
