Abstract :
The strength and stiffness analysis is important and complex for cylinder head of diesel engine. As boundary conditions, it is considered the loads from the bolts tightening process, combustion peak pressure, and thermal loading, so the coupling analysis is essential for the cylinder head. To simplify the complex operation of the coupling analysis, the simulation template is put forward based on the study of the cylinder head analysis, and the pre-process and linked components, which included in the template, are used to perform the total coupling analysis. The application of this template indicated that it is an stock of knowledge of coupling analysis for cylinder head, and it is useful to repetitious analysis and optimal design.
