Abstract
Methods of testing electrical power systems are discussed. Recommendations are given concerning types of tests to be performed on equipment and systems and how to determine what tests should be performed. Guidelines for acceptable values are also given and discussed. Testing standards, equipment maintenance testing, and acceptance testing are discussed. The following items of equipment are discussed: LV/HV circuit breakers; switchgear; protective relays; transformers; and MV cables
