Abstract :
Illustrates a number of transient responses, giving step and impulse responses for some band pass filters and for a wide variety of low pass filters. In particular, filters which contain real and complex zeros are shown here as having intermediate response which can show a gradual change in shape when going from one order to the next. The discussion is not restricted to passive LC cases and is applicable to any form of realisation
