Abstract :
When the finite element analysis of masonry structure are conducted by using micro-model,the stress-strain curves of brick and motar are necessary. 20 sintered shale brick prisms, 20 autoclaved lime-sand brick prisms and 40 mixed mortar prisms in axial compression were tested. The stress-strain curves, prism compressive strength, elastic modulus and Poisson´s ratio of brick and mortar were obtained. Comparing to the result of cube compressive strength test, the relationship between cube compressive strength and prism compressive strength were established.
