Abstract :
In order to solve the inefficacious problems of traditional Bowring formula when the longitude crosses line plusmn180deg and the latitude crosses the plusmn90deg line, an improved algorithm for the solution of geodetic problems is proposed in this paper. By introducing error compensation, the dispersion of the longitudes or the latitudes is considered to deal with the borderline mutation. Simulation results show that the calculating results of the improved algorithm have high conformability with the actual results. The error compensation based algorithm can effectively solve the borderline mutation and thus the inefficacious problems of the classic Bowring formula are solved successfully.
