Abstract :
The suitable data association algorithm in passive tracking system is presented in this paper. By comparing among different association algorithms and analyzing passive sensor characteristics, JPDA is chosen as association algorithm to resolve existing problem rooting form high nonlinear of bearing-only tracking. Moreover, some shortcomings are illuminated and some advices are given for JPDA application in warship target tracking system. The application of JPDA in a simulation and engineering system indicates its effectiveness and practicability.
