Abstract :
Sufficient conditions for the nonexistence of zero input limit cycles in 2-D recursive digital filters with quantization or overflow nonlinearities are presented in the form of theorems. They are shown to be more general than those given by P. Agathoklis et al. (1984) and can be used to test multiple or complex nonlinearities. Testing the conditions of the theorems is not difficult
