  • Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to discuss a wavelet-galerkin numerical method to solve the convection-dispersion equations. The 2-D Daubechie wavelet base and scaling basis function was constructed. The Method was compared with the traditional FEM through a numerical simulation for a factual convection-dispersion equation. That shows that the new method is dependable and effective in solving convection-dispersion equations.
