Abstract :
In order to enhance the level and efficiency of quality management, this paper presents a workflow-based information sharing mechanism of industrial radiographic testing (IRT). A RDF/S metadata model is used to describe IRT images and its related quality information. By the parsing of information needs based on rules and context, the IRT images and its related information which is required in decision-making can be delivered to activity executive simultaneously. A prototype system has indicated that the proposed method is able to describe, store and retrieve IRT images and its associated information.
