Abstract :
Control is based on a broad spectrum of generic techniques which find application across an equally broad spectrum. Control can be viewed within the context of a matrix the rows of which comprise control theory and the columns of which comprise control applications. Advances in computer and computing science both enable new applications and suggest new directions in control theory
