Abstract :
The authors show how switched-capacitors (SCs) can be used to implement asynchronous pulse arithmetic in artificial neural networks. A switched-capacitor integrator is used as the basis for analysis and simulation. They also demonstrate the ability of SCs to implement multilayer networks by realizing the XOR function. A novel design of a voltage controlled oscillator for VLSI CMOS fabrication is also presented
