Abstract :
DVB-S2 standard makes possible to send the signal with adaptive coding and modulation and supports four modulation modes scheme: QPSK, 8PSK, 16APSK and 32APSK. QPSK and 8PSK are typically proposed for many broadcast applications and it is to determine the decision regions for the received signal detection. But in the case of 16APSK and 32APSK it is difficult to determine the decision regions to demap the received signal because these constellations has the various ring (inner or outer). Therefore we propose the demapping algorithm for more simplified DVB-S2 detection and analyze the performance of this algorithm compared to the method employing the bound decision
