Abstract :
Rotating Electromagnetic Voltage Converter (REVC) is a new type of energy converter, which with multi-functions including voltage change, reactive power compensation, harmonics isolation, etc. In the paper, the operating principle of REVC is introduced; the mathematical model of REVC is obtained from relations of voltage, current, inductance and flux linkage. The mathematical model is simulated and analyzed by S-function of Matlab software, and the validity of the model is verified. The prototype is manufactured, and the results of experiment and simulation are consistent.
