  • Abstract
The health of ecosystem is the hotspot in the field of bionomics. Urban ecosystem, whose health determines directly the continuous development of cities, is the groundwork and carrier of cities´ development. In this research, a composite information system of indicators is built in order to evaluate healthy situation of urban ecosystem, and a compound model is designed to evaluate the degree of urban ecosystem health based on attribute theory. In the empirical analysis of Zhuzhou city, the model is applied and the indicators show that the ecosystem in Zhuzhou city can be classified into average healthy, which is consistent with the factual situation. This illustrates that application of attribute theory is effective to reflect the health of a city as a whole, and consequently is theoretically valuable and operable. It can be as the consultant standard to develop and manage urban ecosystem healthily.
