  • Abstract
    Aiming at improving function of DAS, based on the system viewpoint, the method of dangerous situation recognition in driving was discussed. By analyzing the character of traffic system with DAS, applicability of method of FTA in analysis of safety of traffic situation was analyzed and fault tree model of traffic situation was established. Key problems of the concept of traffic situation, calculation method of possibility of top event and bottom events occurring was discussed. Based on fault tree model, dangerous situation recognition method in DAS was given. And a case of fault tree in traffic situation of straight section of dual lane highway was given.
