Abstract :
In order to understand source apportionment and spatial-temporal variance of agricultural non-point source pollution (NPSP) fully in Chengdu, Sichuan, and to further provide evidence to cut it down, the list analysis was conducted to determine the loading of agricultural NPSP in Chengdu. The results showed that the main sources of pollution were livestock breeding, crop production, rural domestic waste and the main pollutants was COD. According to pollution stress, the pollution extent was plain area >; hill area. In recent years, pollution quantities have the trend of ascent. Livestock breeding and rural domestic waste have achieved rapid growth, however, pollution quantities of crop farming has been decreasing. Therefore, poultry and animal pollution prevention is the emphases of our future work, meanwhile, take into account both rural domestic waste and crop production.
