Abstract :
Samples of a segmentally pultruded composite material used for an open space frame marine instrumentation tower(1)(2)(3) were exposed to a marine environment typical of its intended exposure for periods up to twelve months. The samples were then tested and different strength and stiffness properties were evaluated with respect to the degree of exposure to the marine environment.
