Abstract :
The increased complexity associated with large-scale deployments requires an increase in the sophistication of the methodology used to manage these deployments. OPEN (Object-oriented Process, Environment and Notation) is a process-focussed methodology created by the merger of a large number of object-oriented (OO) methodologies and the ideas from a cohesive group of over 25 internationally recognized methodologists and researchers. Tasks and techniques within the full-lifecycle OO methodology OPEN-MeNtOR are described in detail, with emphasis on the more advanced contributions made by OPEN-MeNtOR to the state-of-the-art in object technology
