The erosion hazards of red soil platform coast of Fujian province and its mechanism
Abstract :
The distribution of red soil platform mainly located in the south of Minjiang River and the Pingtan Island in Fujian province and appears in NE-SW strike. The erosion statuses of typical red soil platform coast in Pingtan Island, Xinghua Bay, Meizhou Bay and Quanzhou Bay have been introduced. The erosion mechanism and causes have been studied. And several recommendations have been made on the prevention of red soil platform coast erosion.
