Abstract :
Fushun city is a famous coalfield in the world, it appears serious damage because of mining work through hundred years, for this reason the development of the city is puzzled by geological hazards; it produces landslide, ground deformation, land surface gap and minging tremor on account of excavating in well and in the open air around Fushun coalfield, they threaten directly the people life and property safe. In order to ensure the city sustainable development, we need separating the city land resources into several segments. The paper discusses the type of geological hazards in Fushun city, on the basis of researching we separate the area into three parts: bad area of engineering geology environment, badder area of engineering geology environment and general area of engineering geology environment, they can provide scientific geological basis for the development and plan of the city.
